ABOUT
Come join Maggie Guterl and Zach Miller in conjunction with Tanawha Adventures for an epic five-day high desert trail running experience in Northern New Mexico May 4th-8th, 2022. Based out of Ghost Ranch, former home of Georgia O'Keefe, runs will take you to the top of gorgeous mesa's, through stunning canyons, and past pristine high elevation forest. A typical day will start with a healthy, locally sourced, breakfast and a short pre-run meeting. Each run will be approximately 8-11 miles in length with anywhere between 1,000 - 2,000 ft of elevation gain over varied terrain. The afternoons will include a variety of activities including: workshops, site seeing, and relaxing at camp. Exciting evening activities will include special events, campfires, beer, and dining together at some of the best restaurants/breweries in Santa Fe and the surrounding area.

Is This Camp a Good Fit For Me?
-
Trail runners of varying abilities are welcome to the camp.
-
Pacers/Guides are provided for each run to accommodate varying paces; however, this is NOT a hiking camp. If you're still unsure about pace, please contact us directly and we can help you decide.
-
This is not a "Hell Week" style fitness camp; however, we would like you to arrive to camp ready to run 8-11 miles each day with roughly 1000-2000 feet of gain. Terrain can be technical and rocky and most trails run are in the back-country.
-
Please do not arrive injured out of respect for yourself and others.
-
Our goal for each run is to show you some of the most beautiful trails in Northern New Mexico. You can expect varying terrain; rocky and smooth terrain, single-track, mud, jaw-dropping views, technicolor landscapes, and much more!
-
Camp sits at roughly 6500 feet and most of our runs will be spent between an elevation of 7000-9000 feet. You might feel slightly affected by the thinner air.
